Turn Around Time For Lawn Equipment Repair

The longer that your Machine is in the shop for service the more of an inconvenience it can be for you. At Hub Small Engine Repair we do our best to provide the quickest turn around possible. There are particular circumstances such as parts availability and how busy we are that can effect the completion time. We also would like to point out that some people try to fix their machine prior to calling a professional. There is nothing wrong with that. But we would appreciate if customer could inform us with what they did to machine in order to avoid wasting your time and your money diagnosing non related issues that had nothing to do with the original problem, but were caused by the DIY repair.

We also want to express that there are many different Manufacturers and types of equipment. There are many causes to why a machine won't run or run properly. Because of this, Repair costs vary based on how much time they take and what parts are involved.

DROP-OFF: If you Choose to drop your equipment off. You will still need to book online and we will contact you on instructions for drop-off.

PICK UP & DELIVERY : After booking services online we will arrive at your location to pick up machine. Please keep in mind that this appointment is to pick your machine up and not to fix it. Repairs are done in the order of first come first serve. Pick up times are also approx and not exact. If there are any changes in our scheduled pick up time we will contact you on the phone number you provided when ordering. During the busy season we have days where the amount of bookings we have and the location of each booking can alter our pick up times. If you are busy, you don't need to be there for pick up. Just tell us where it will be. If you live outside of Denville a delivery fee will be Charged.

LABOR CHARGES: All repairs are based on a shop labor rate of $105.00 per hour plus all parts. There is also a half hour minimum Charge of $50.00 for any repair.

Larger Equipment such as Compact Loaders, ATV's , etc, labor rate will be $120.00 per hour with a 1 hour minimum.

DEPOSIT: All repairs require a deposit that will be used towards the labor and time to diagnose the problem. If repair is authorized that deposit will be applied toward the repair. The Deposit charge will be applied to the customer’s repair invoice or used as an estimate fee if the customer declines the repair for any reason. Charges vary by equipment type.
SERVICE WARRANTY: We warranty all labor by Hub Small Engine Repair for a period of 30 days. Parts used in repairs will be covered under Manufacturers Warranty if applicable and excludes elecrical components. All machines in for service from December 1st through March 31st will have a warranty through April 30th of that year on work performed as long as the requested service included winterization.

ATTACHMENTS: Hub Small Engine Repair requires all attachments (e.g., bagging attachments, chainsaw cases, power washer nozzle tips) be removed before pick up ! Removal of all attachments must be done prior to pickup. If this is not completed prior to the scheduled pickup, We will remove the attachments and leave them where we picked up machine.

The Express Maintenance Services are for running machines and are based on pre-set maintenance regimen and include all labor costs

Warranty Repairs for Duromax Power Procts: If you are in need of Warranty service for your Duromax Power Product. You need to contact Duromax Power prior to contacting or scheduling service with Hub Small Engine Repair and file a claim and get a case number. We can not file a claim for you and we will not get paid without it prior to any repair.

Once client has a Case number, they will still need to schedule a service for the repair. The best way to do that is on this website. We offer pick up and delivery like we do for all our repairs. But if you are outside of Denville, NJ you will be charged a delivery fee and that is not included with your warranty. Duromax will not pay for pick up and delivery. Your online deposit will be applied to that fee.

The price of this service does not include Parts and they will be listed and billed in addition to labor costs on any service or repair we perform.

If your machine is not running; additional charges may apply depending on the problem. We can provide the necessary diagnostics to evaluate and estimate the cost to repair the equipment.

This is the starting rate for flat tire repair. Repair cost varies based on type, size of tire as well as if it requires an innertube. Price does not include new innertube or new tire.

Recoil Starter Rope Replacement
